Lawmakers have introduced legislation (House Bill 478) that, if passed, would explicitly protect transgender Granite Staters from discrimination—for the first time in our state's history.
Because New Hampshire non-discrimination laws do not currently protect on the basis of gender identity, transgender people can be evicted, fired, and denied service just for being who they are. HB 478 would change that.
It's time to ensure fair and equal protections for transgender Granite Staters. If you agree add your name to the pledge in support of HB 478!
